16 best raspberry recipes on Recipes Made Easy

When I asked my blogging friends to come up with some blackberry recipe ideas for my bumper crop from the allotment, I also asked them for recipes using raspberries as my autumn raspberry bushes are in full fruit right now. Being the generous bunch they are, they kindly obliged so this week I am sharing my pick of all the lovely raspberry recipe ideas they gave me. There are no less than 16 delicious raspberry recipes to choose from.16 raspberry recipes

Cakes and Bakes

Raspberry Rose Friands

blank

A Friand is a small, bite sized almond cake popular in Australia and New Zealand, and closely related to the French Financier. Chocolette from Tin & Thyme pops a few raspberries into hers to make these Raspberry Rose Friands. I love these as they look so dainty.

Raspberry and Hazelnut Crumble Cake

blank

For a big family cake which can double as a dessert if served warm with custard, try my Raspberry and Hazelnut Crumble Cake inspired after cooking from Nigel Slater's Food Diaries for the Borough Market Cook Book Club.

White Chocolate and Almond Blondies with Raspberries

blank

We all know that raspberries go well with white chocolate. Jo's Kitchen Larder makes a fabulous White Chocolate and Almond Blondies with Raspberries. Don't you just want to take a big bite out of one of these? I know I do.

Avocado Raspberry Lime Muffins

blank

These Avocado Raspberry Lime Muffins   from Monika at Everyday Healthy Recipes are dairy free.

Raspberry Bakewell Tart

blank

Eb over at Easy Peasy Foodie reminisces how it was her father  who developed the Raspberry Bakewell Tart in her house when she was a child. The recipes use store bought pastry cases but you could, of course, always make your own.

Almond and Cardamon Rye Shortbread with Raspberry Whisky Cream

blank

Also from Choclette at  Tin and Thyme, is a raspberry whisky cream, which she serves with her delicious almond and cardamon rye shortbread. I have never made shortbread with rye before but I imagine it would give the biscuit a lovely nutty texture so I shall be giving it a try.

Puddings

Raspberry and White Chocolate Mini Trifles

blank

Anyone who knows me knows that I love trifle. Ok, so I know I love a lot of foods, especially desserts and cake, but trifle is my absolute all time favourite. I even mention it in my twitter profile so trust me, I really do love trifle. So of course I have to include Angela's recipe from Only Crumbs Remain for Raspberry and White Chocolate Mini Trifles.  Or, if you're a big bowl of trifle kind of guy then you may want to try my Raspberry Syllabub Trifle .

White Chocolate and Raspberry Tarts

blank

and I think Angela's White Chocolate and Raspberry Tarts sound almost as delicious and they look stunning too.

Chestnut and Chocolate Pots with a Raspberry Puddle

blankThese Chestnut and Chocolate Pots with a Raspberry Puddle from Beach Hut Cook Elinor look divine. I love the idea of a raspberry puddle!

Presserves

 Quick and Easy Raspberry Jam

blankKeen jam maker Camilla from Fab Food 4 all shared her Quick and Easy Raspberry Jam. She also has a recipe for seedless raspberry jam if you prefer. If you have any redcurrants as well you might want to try my Raspberry and Redcurrant Jam

Raspberry and Blackcurrant Curd

blank

If you are looking for something a little different you might like to try this Raspberry and Blackcurrant Curd from kirsty at Hi-Jacked by Twins.

Not sure what to make with it? No problem you could try her Raspberry and blackcurrant meringue pie.

I am sure you will agree there are some amazingly good recipes here to try, the question will be which one to make first.  I would love to know which ones are youru do drop me a comment, I read each and everyone and try to reply to them all too.
