It's #CookBlogShare time again on Recipes Made Easy. There is no theme with the recipes I am sharing this week, they are just four of the recipes linked to last weeks linky that really appeal to me.
If you are not familiar with #CookBlogShare, this is the place where bloggers can link up the recipes they have been cooking and blogging to share with others.
But its not just a place for bloggers. Non bloggers, and that's the majority of you!, can check out the recipes food bloggers other than myself are sharing just by clicking on the thumbnail pictures linked below. It's a great way to discover new recipes and new blogs. But dont forget to come back to Recipes Made Easy, I love having you here! As well as the links that will be added over the coming weeks. I am sharing my pick of the recipes linked to last week's #CookBlogShare.
Four Fabulous Recipes From #CookBlogShare Bloggers
You know you have got it right when someone sees the photograph of your latest recipe and thinks I want to make that! That's what I strive for with every recipe I post. So for #CookBlogShare this week I have chosen to share four recipes that made me think just that. They are from a fabulous selection of very varied recipes that for one reason or another appealed to me most.
Raspberry and White Chocolate Tray Bake Cake
Raspberry and White Chocolate Tray Bake Cake from Only Crumbs Remain - This recipe appealed to me because I really like raspberries . Last week I shared 16 lovely raspberry recipes in my 16 Best raspberry recipes including two from Angela at Only Crumbs Remain and then she goes and post anther yummy raspberry recipe.( I think Angela and I have very similar tastes!) If you like raspberries as much as I do I am sure you will happily want to work though some of the recipes in my round up and make this one too.
Spiced Vegetable Fries
Spiced Vegetable Fries From Searching for Spice Were posted for Caribbean food week. These sang out to me because they look so crispy and fresh. I really wanted to pick one up dip it in the sauce and try it. Baked in the oven they are not as naughty as you might think. While I can guess what the courgette fries taste like, I am really interested to find out what an avocado fry tastes like - could be interesting (Corina suggests it's a great way of using up the avocado that refuses to ripen) so I really want to make these.
S'mores Cookie Bars
S'mores Cookie Bars from The Not So Creative Cook , just look delicious, naughty but nice. My readers from the UK may not be familiar with Graham crackers which are used in the recipes. Don't let that put you off, you can use digestive biscuits instead. Actually as the world gets ever smaller you can now buy Graham Crackers in the UK but only at silly prices so I suggest you don't!
Aubergine, Tomato and Mozzarella Bake
Aubergine, Tomato and Mozzarella Bake from Jo's Kitchen Larder. Aubergines are one of my favourite vegetables although I just don't cook them nearly enough. Combined with tomato and Mozzarella for a simple light lunch or supper and I am totally hooked.
I find it interesting that the some of the recipes that appealed to me had very light and summer flavours but I was also really attracted to the baking recipes. I guess it because it sums up how I feel at this time of the year. Desperate to cling on to the last of summer's light fresh flavours and cooking styles but looking forward to more baking and homely comfort foods as the nights begin to draw in. I love each season for what it is.
Nico @ yumsome
Corina's fries have my name all over them - don't they look so gorgeous?! Yummy!
Actually everything looks wonderful, as usual. Those smores cookie bars though... they look mighty dangerous! Ha ha! xx
(Also, apologies - I thought I'd already commented earlier in the week.)

Eb Gargano | Easy Peasy Foodie
Oh dear Jacqui, You must think I am very rude...I totally forgot to comment!! In my defense I have a totally crazy busy week this week...in my grand plan for August I kind of forgot to factor in the fact the workload for September kicks in at the end of August...and then a client asked me to do an extra post and so this week I have written and posted 3 posts...one of which was my epic Back to School post!! (Remind me of the plan again...oh yes - one a week over summer and all written and scheduled beforehand - bah!!!) And this is all while I still have the kids at home with me...poor kids they've watched a wee bit more telly this week than I would have liked 🙁 Anyway, I will get cracking with the rest of my commenting now, rather than carry on prattling in your comments 😀 Eb x
Jacqueline Bellefontaine

These recipes all look so scrummy! The spiced vegetable fries especially intrigued me, since I'm always on the lookout for new, kid-friendly veggie-delivery devices. Those desserts and that aubergine, bake though! YUM. Great selection here.

PS: I am a Filipina (from the Philippines) 😉
Jacqueline Bellefontaine
Im so sorry Jhuls, I just made assumptions that you were an Amercian based on the fact you used cups and graham crackers. Are you Filipina living in the US I couldnt quite tell now I have reread your about page (it was a while since I last read it). Ive edited the page to correct it now
Jhuls | The Not So Creative Cook
Oh that's fine, Jacqui. We also have graham crackers and we use them for our Filipino desserts, too. 🙂 Thanks, Jacqui.
