It's CookBlogShare time again on Recipes Made Easy and this week I am sharing 4 marvellous midweek meals from last weeks link up.
Well its been a busy few weeks in the Recipes Made Easy kitchen. Not all blog related. As some of you will know , I recently made a wedding cake for the daughter of a close friend ( I shared some photos on Instagram and Facebook). Now as I don't usually do much cake decorating I was pretty nervous to say the least. The last time I made a wedding cake was for my best friend at uni over 25 years ago and someone else decorated that for me. Anyway I did a practise run for this wedding cake before hand and then the real thing. I'm glad to say all went well on the day and everyone loved the cake and much to my relief. I shall be writing a post for the blog all about it soon too.
Four Marvellous Midweek Meals
With the cake, The Great British Bake Off being in full swing and all the preserving I have been doing, I feel that just recently Recipes Made Easy and my cooking in general, has been a bit biased towards the Sweet dishes recently, so for this week's #CookBlogShare round up I have decided to share four recipes that make marvellous midweek meals.
Curried Sweet Potato Soup
As I had a some sweet potatoes in the fridge, I made this Curried Sweet Potato Soup from Julies Family Kitchen, last night and I can confirm it is absolutely delicious. I didn't quite have enough sweet potato so made up the weight with a couple of carrots, but wether you stick to the original recipe or adapt slightly to what you have at hand, it is an ideal for a midweek meal, especially now that the temperature is dropping.
Steamed sea bass with soy chilli and garlic
This steamed sea bass with soy chilli and garlic from The Food Quine, looks so fresh and tasty. Its also low cal so would make it a great antidote to all the sweet food I have been eating recently. Frozen fish is ideal for midweek meals and this dish is really quick and easy to prepare.
Slow Cooke Lamb Bhuna
Although this Slow cooked lamb Bhuna from Easy Peasy Foodie, takes a couple of hours to cook. Eb assures us that it takes just 10 minutes hands on time, so you cant complain about that. My boys love curries and would eat this any day of the week.
Moroccan Stuffed Romano Peppers
Finally I think it is always good to include at least one meat free meal a week (although to be honest my boys may not always agree) I love the look of these colourful Moroccan Stuffed peppers from The Veg Space. I have eaten giant cous cous quite a lot but haven't cooked it myself but as I would really like to make this recipe that will change soon.
As always there were lots of fabulous recipes linked up so picking just four was really hard. Thank you to all those who took part.

Thanks Eb. It was fun and scary to do at the same time. A wedding is such and important day in anyones lives so you really want every thing to be perfect for them. With so much cake in my life at the moment it had to be a savoury round up and there were some fab recipes to choose from.
